Sunburn

(Free Verse Wordweave)
.

.
Copious sunshine,

Elicit
Tactile
Ecstasy,
Yet,

Too over radiated Dermatology

Yields
Sunburn,

Nasty Yellow Welts,

So,

On next trip,
Put Thick Known Nostrum,

Made exact

To overcome

Exposure.

Author Notes

Ouch!

This poem is a Word Weave I thought this up on my own, but it may exist as some formal format that I’m not aware of. The idea is to write a poem where each word is followed by the next word using the last letter of the word before it. Hence the weave. It can either rhyme or be free verse. The trick is to make sense of the poetic theme. It’s harder than you might think.
