Sands of Time

The Sands of Time

.

.

Drifting through the sands of time

Never caring in our prime

That time is precious.

It’s not endless.

Suddenly

We’ll be

.
Gone

.
For we

Cannot flee

Fate’s destiny,

That we will grow old

While life’s stories unfold

Drifting through the sands of time

.

Author Notes When we are young, we think we’ll live forever. But time marches on.
