They cut and gash
Winter
Away.

Author Notes
This is a picture of rain drops falling onto an ice mound, forming a puddle that is cutting it away as the rain continues to fall.

The photograph was taken be me on March 30, 2013. This poem will become part of my Picture Poem collection.
