Campfire

Campfire

Campfire
(A Pantoum Poem)
.

.
.
Flickering flames in firelight,
Pine logs giving glorious glow
With scented smoke that fills the night,
A twilight camping color show.
.
Pine logs giving glorious glow
That brightens woodland day’s-end scene.
A twilight camping color show,
Sitting around it, so serene.
.

That brightens woodland day’s-end scene,
While roasting hot dogs on a stick.
Sitting around it, so serene,
These are the things that make me click.
.
While roasting hot dogs on a stick.
With scented smoke that fills the night,
These are the things that make me click,
Flickering flames in firelight.
