Dark be the Night
(A Poetic Warning)
.
.
Beyond twilight
In dark of night,
The hours of fright,
Begin the moan
As Vampires roam.
Don’t be alone!
.
Do your worst dreams
Contain the screams,
As nothing seems
To be for real?
As dangers steal
Your soothing feel?
.
Beware! The thud
Behind you could
Cost all your blood!
.
For Evil preys
On those who stray
Where Demons play!
For blood they drool,
And life is cruel
To heedless fool.
.
As Hell abounds!
Don’t turn around
To slither’s sound.
Where shadows stray!
Please don’t delay.
Just run away!
.
Beware! The thud
Behind you could
Cost all your blood!
.
